Kaye’s love affair for the blend of beauty and cosmetics career began in Harlem, New York where she began her professional makeup career providing custom makeup services for photoshoots, weddings, and 1-on-1 makeup tutorials.

From there, she shifted to MAC Cosmetics as a makeup artist where she provides gold standard makeup artistry and delivers solution-driven client service. Kaye is often commended for exhibiting elite skincare, makeup application, color tones, and product knowledge to ensure her clients receive a glamorous makeup experience.

With Kaye’s natural ability to cultivate authentic relationships with her clients, as well as demonstrate skillful makeup application, she launched her career as a full-time freelance makeup artist under her own company Kayemakeup LLC. Kaye has been able to build relationships with on-air talents, performers, and artists, collaborating with the likes of Faith Evans, Tory Lanez, Trey Songz, Wiz Khalifa, and other contemporary performers as a key makeup artist for large-scale music video productions.

Kaye’s talent, professionalism, dedication, and expert knowledge of makeup artistry has allowed her the opportunity to tour all over the world including Japan, London, and Canada. She was also able to visit most of North America with the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour in 2016.

Kaye’s work has been featured on various television shows including The Real, The Wendy Williams Show, Luke Cage, Good Day New York, Vh1 Hip Hop Honors, BET Black Girls Rock, the Steve Harvey Show, and Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

In addition, Kaye’s natural want to further her education and passion for makeup, skin care, and product knowledge is evident by her execution of honors at the Christine Valmy International School of Esthetics and Skin Care. Kaye is now a New York State certified esthetician and advanced makeup artist.

In the spring of 2020, Kaye launched her own cosmetics line “Kayemakeup Cosmetics” featuring mink eye lashes, makeup brushes, and other accessories for her clients to enjoy.
